Boat and Yacht Deliveries

If you would like your boat (motor or sail) moved somewhere else, but don’t have either the time or confidence to move it yourself, we can deliver it for you, either providing both a skipper and crew, or alternatively one of our hugely experienced commercial skippers can join you for all or part of your trip.

A passage can appear extremely daunting, but can also be a very useful training opportunity, often combining unfamiliar navigation with all the issues of running a boat for longer periods of time, maybe well offshore, and perhaps even including overnight legs. One of our skippers can show you how they run a boat on passage and how, when, & why they make decisions in different circumstances. Alternatively they can take a back seat, leaving you to run your boat whilst still providing you with a reassuringly experienced extra pair of hands, rubber-stamping your decisions from behind the scenes, and quietly pointing out any better options where appropriate. The achievement of making a successful landfall after a long trip is a fantastic experience, and this is a very good way of getting practical hands-on experience on your own boat.

We can do everything from move a boat down the coast to across the channel or even across the Atlantic, and have skippers who are fully qualified and very experienced in both power and sail. All our skippers are commercially qualified for vessels up to 24 metres and/or 200 tonnes.
